Just right now in the London Fashion Week Nokia launched a garment which made of 35 Lumia 1520 smartphones. So, make the design possible Nokia has partnered with creative label Fyodor Golan to deliver “the world's first interactive skirt”. The specialty of the skirt is as the skirt moves, images on their screens change color, creating a synchronized shimmering effect. Japanese 'smart clothing' uses nanofibers to monitor your heart-rate
Japanese mobile carrier NTT Docomo and materials developer Toray have been working on joint projects and have now announced one called Hitoe, which means ‘one layer’ in Japanese.
It is a cloth that contains Toray's nanofibres that are coated in a transmittable layer. It is a nicotine-patch sized square you attach to it that does the sensing.

Just months after re-launching its advanced textiles engineering lab, Fabdesigns Inc. took delivery of one of the first new technology Stoll ADF3 machines in the U.S. In the last year, the flow of both domestic and international clients to its’ private textile laboratory has grown substantially, the company reports.
