Stitch class-2
It is hand formed stitch where one or more needle threads and for general characteristics each thread passes through the material as a single line of thread and the stitch is secured by the thread passing in an out of the material or by intralooping.
Stitch class-3
It is formed with two or more threads and for general characteristics the interlocking of the two groups. Loops of the first group are passed through the material where they are secured by the thread or threads of the second group to form a stitch.

Stitch class-4
It is formed with two or more groups of threads and for general characteristic the interlacing and interlooping of the loops of the two groups. Loops of the first group of threads passe through the material and are secured by interlacing and interlooping with loops of the second group to form a stitch.

Stitch class-5
It is formed with one or more groups of thread and for general characteristics has loops from at least one group of thread which pass around the edge of the material. Loops of one group of thread as passed through the material or more secured by interlooping with loops of one or more interlooped groups of threads before succeeding loops of first group are again passed through the material.

Stitch class-6
It is formed with two or more groups of threads and for general characteristics has two groups cover the raw edges of both surface of material. Loops of first group of thread are passed through loops of third group already cast on the surface of the material and then through the material where they are interlooped with loops of the second group of thread on the underside of the material. However, 601 have only two groups of thread and function of third group is performed by one of the threads in first group.
